The Story
When Zivame entered the B2B trade market, traders like Manoj Babu (the trader persona) faced a time-consuming challenge. Ordering products in bulk was difficult because the platform wasn’t optimized for adding multiple sizes at once. Additionally, determining the availability of specific size ranges was nearly impossible, frustrating users who needed efficiency. I stepped in to address these pain points with a fresh design that simplified bulk orders and streamlined product selection.
The redesigned experience featured a bulk add option, allowing traders to quickly select multiple sizes of a product. A single category page was introduced to highlight stock availability, whether in popular, all, or fast-moving sizes. I also integrated automatic trader margins into the cart and checkout process, making pricing more transparent. Enhancing the order review at checkout ensured accuracy, while restricting B2B users from accessing the consumer site with the same login added an extra layer of security. These changes made bulk ordering faster and more intuitive, ultimately improving the user experience for traders.
