The Story
Zivame’s e-commerce redesign aimed to embody the brand's bold and beautiful identity while driving a significant boost in engagement and conversion. The challenge was to deliver a mobile-first, visually engaging experience that balanced engineering efficiency with a focus on conversion. Working within a 5-month timeline, the team implemented an atomic design approach, breaking down the UI into components and surfaces that prioritized one task at a time. The result was a streamlined, image-driven platform that seduced users with visuals while ensuring a smooth and intuitive shopping experience.
My contributions were part of a larger cross-functional effort that brought together teams from tech, UX, marketing, and merchandising. With innovations like FitCodeâ„¢ for personalized recommendations, multi-tier product pages, and real-world shopping mirroring, we focused on creating meaningful product discovery experiences. Through continuous monitoring and data-driven iterations, we achieved a 9% overall web conversion improvement and a 17% increase in user engagement by the end of the year. This project reinforced the value of collaboration and data in driving both brand expression and business growth.
