The Story
Our goal was to create a Big, Bold, Beautiful brand that not only looked great but functioned with engineering efficiency, delivering a five-month turnaround. To boost engagement and conversion by 20%, we focused on a mobile-first design approach, ensuring the experience was seamless across devices. Using atomic design principles, we built the UI in layers—molecules, components, and surfaces—to deliver a clean and focused user interface that presented one task at a time. Data-driven iteration guided the process, with every change grounded in user feedback and performance metrics.
Innovation was at the heart of this project. We introduced real-world mirroring to let users shop based on experience and implemented a multi-tier product page that gave shoppers three lenses to view products. The FitCodeâ„¢ recommendation system offered personalized fit suggestions, and content-led commerce infused editorial content directly into the shopping experience. Our cross-functional collaboration spanned tech, UX, marketing, and more, ensuring every team was aligned. The result? See highlights below.
HIGHLIGHT
Significant conversion improvements—overall web conversions jumped by 9%, with direct and organic web conversions increasing by 19%. Engagement also rose by 17% during the peak months of November and December 2016.
