The Story
In this project, we focused on enhancing Kaseya’s Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform to better secure both company-owned and personal mobile devices. With the platform already widely used by organizations, the challenge was to design new screens for upcoming features without disrupting the established user experience. Working within the constraints of a legacy framework, I collaborated with a team of six to create intuitive designs that streamlined how users interacted with data-heavy screens.
I contributed to the project by restructuring the information architecture and creating wireframes using Balsamiq, ensuring the designs met the platform’s usability needs. For the visual design, I refreshed legacy screens in Illustrator, maintaining consistency while improving clarity. Through this experience, I learned how to address interaction usability issues and effectively balance functionality with an aging interface.
